Annette and Katie with Wheat and Honey Events are a mother daughter team with locations in California and Texas.

Coming from a family of love we bring our coordination, planning and organizational skills to help you plan the wedding day or event of your dreams.

Our passion is to offer as much or as little help as the bride and groom need.  

From picking your caterer, venue, vendors, assist you with your budget, colors, transportation to and from the venue, rehearsal dinner etc... we do it all.

Annette Kirkhuff has over 20 years of experience in the wedding and event industry. From corporate events and weddings to funerals and beyond, she brings expertise, professionalism, and a keen eye for detail to every occasion. As the visionary behind the brand, Annette is truly a maven in the industry, known for her creativity, dedication, and ability to bring unforgettable events to life.

Katie Connell relocated to Texas with her husband and three boys in 2021, bringing her bi-coastal expertise to expand our brand into the Texas market. Since her move, she has built strong partnerships with top wedding venues and corporate clients, playing a pivotal role in our company’s growth. Her dedication and vision have exceeded expectations, leading to collaborations with renowned clients such as Cinemark USA, Samsung, The Bingham Estate, and the McKinney Flour Mill.
